History and Description
Metropol Parasol, popularly known as "Las Setas" (The Mushrooms), is an impressive wooden structure designed by German architect Jürgen Mayer H. Inaugurated in 2011, it has become one of contemporary Seville's icons.
At 150 meters long, 70 wide and 26 high, it is considered the world's largest wooden structure. Inside it houses a traditional market, cultural spaces, restaurants and a panoramic viewpoint offering 360° views of Seville.
